The Power of Personal Narrative

After a more than a decade of assisting people along their wellness journey, we found out that everyone wants to feel better, yet very little want to actually change.

In order to feel better you must become aware of the habits, patterns and underlying narratives that are leaving you feeling out of balance, fatigued and in pain. If you aren't where you want to be, then these things must change.

Yes change takes effort which means no longer sitting in idle saying "I'll do it tomorrow" or distracting yourself with the latest TV show, alcohol or food. It means taking a good honest look at yourself and knowing in the deepest part of you that it is possible and putting one proverbial foot in front of the other.

Is it simple? Usually not. It gets uncomfortable facing the deepest aspects of ourselves. ALL the traumas and emotions we have so diligently pushed down begin to surface, but the results are true freedom and joy. The results are a lighter, balanced, happier you.

So what is the narrative underlying all your decisions? Do you believe that despite life's chaos you can live in joy, balance and happiness? Or are you constantly limiting yourself and believing you're destined to pain, fatigue and dysfunction?

Start bringing your attention to what you're telling yourself. You'll be amazed at what limitations you're putting on your own healing.
